About the game:

This game is currently being developed by me as a solo developer for Pirate Software - Game Jam 15. The art is from unity asset store packages I own (mainly by JustCreate and Dungeon Mason) and some other free online sources (for the sound design). The goal of the jam is to create a game themed "Shadows and Alchemy". That's why I decided set the game mainly at night on an island, where the player needs to use their magic and melee skills to defend themselves.

To survive the nights on Salamander Bay you'll have to use a sword (right click) and a wand (left click). You can upgrade your skills at the end of every night by using the portal. In the safe area you'll find two rooms: one is the blacksmith's (to upgrade your melee weapon) and the other one is the alchemist's (to upgrade the magical weapon). Choose wisely if you want to upgrade the wand or the sword, as you get one only chance per day. How long will you survive on the island?

If you have any feedback about the game, please leave a comment in the discussion! Don't forget to add the game to your collection and vote for my game if you liked it :)

Inputs:

- sword attack: right click.

- wand attack: left click.

- general interaction: left click.

- jump = space button.

- move = awsd or arrows buttons.

- run = hold left shift down.

i do not last long in there for sure xD i also didn't see the guy to talk to that tells you what to do. (i know it says in the description but i like to play these games as if their not there). i'd think if you  would add an indicator or a "quest" to go talk to him at first, even if its just to remind the player what their to do. I love the area xD monsters are cool!

Thanks for the feedback :) I am going to implement that and the other suggestions I got from other players!

The world you created is beautiful! The monsters were varied, and looked rad. They sometimes did spawn underneath other dead monsters though and ambushed me

Hello :) Thanks! I did my best with the world creation. I really enjoy environment creation. Mmm, I don't understand how they can spawn underneath dead monsters, but I'll see if there's a bug or something! Thanks for the feedback!
